Tonda PF Sport speaks the language of discreet luxury, and natural elegance. Tailored for our modern, active lives, the Sport blurs the line between formality and casual elegance.

Tonda PF Sport is for those who require an everyday companion for today’s active lifestyles, allowing them to move seamlessly from the business week to the weekend.

The knurled bezel of the Tonda PF Sport comprises 160 incisions, rather than the 225 incisions on the regular Tonda PF, creating a bolder play of light and reflection that underlines its sportier character. The dial is decorated with a hand-guilloché ‘triangular nail’ pattern.

Guilloché is a centuries-old artisanal technique that creates richly textured surface decoration to enhance the effect of light falling on a surface from different angles. The applied hour markers are coated with black SuperLuminova. The simple and uncluttered design of the dials ensures perfect legibility, with the ‘panda’ styling of the Chronograph – black sub-dials on a white background – further enhancing the readability of key information.

The textured strap is Cordura-treated rubber, handcrafted and stitched; its anchorage point between the lugs is so seamless that it gives the impression of being integrated into the case. Both watches are water-resistant to 100 meters.

Discretion is a virtue at Parmigiani Fleurier and, in keeping with the Tonda PF aesthetic, the logo and date window are both very discreet: the small PF medallion is positioned at 12 o'clock, and the date window is at 6 o’clock on the Automatic and 4.30 on the Chronograph.

The Parmigiani Fleurier brand - a watch-making adventure that transcends the mundane - was created in Fleurier in 1996 and was guided by the passion of a man who remained faithful to the very essence of the watchmaker. Michel Parmigiani, master horologist, renowned restorer, and talented creator of mechanical time-keepers, dedicates his knowledge, which has been enriched by past and present teachings, to the benefit of the brand.

The Sandoz Family Foundation, who had tasked a young Michel Parmigiani to lead the restoration of their horological artifact collection, became interested in bringing Parmigiani's masterful work to the consumer market. In 1996, with the backing of the Sandoz Foundation, Parmigiani Fleurier was able to fit out its manufacturing workshops with the means to produce exceptionally high-quality goods. In less than 10 years, it achieved near complete vertical integration, and the industrial equipment deployed constitutes one of the rarest and most complete manufacturing workshops in Switzerland. The very essence of haute horology, such as attention to detail or the beauty of the embellishment of a simple or highly complicated movement, is the subject of great attention at Parmigiani Fleurier and is the reason for its international recognition.
