Parmigiani Fleurier is created and officially inaugurated at the Beau-Rivage Palace in Lausanne on May 29, 1996

birth of the manufacture

The company embarks on a journey to become a true manufacture. In May of 1999, the Sandoz Family Foundation acquires Les Artisans Boîtiers, a workshop that melds precision manufacturing with manual craftsmanship to produce high-end watch cases.

Acquisition of Atokalpa and Elwin

Parmigiani Fleurier watchmaking center expands with the integration of Atokalpa, a manufacturer of trains, pinions, and microgears. By 2005, the company is able to industrially produce balance wheels and springs, pallet forks, and escapement wheels. Elwin, a leader in precision bar turning, joins the same year, supplying all the hardware for mechanical movements.

Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier is born

In January 2003, Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier is created to furnish high-end movements for Parmigiani Fleurier watches at the highest level of technicality and finishing. Its research and development department is tasked with producing a vast range of complicated calibers.

Creation of Quadrance et Habillage
